What is the California Young Artists Expo?

The California Young Artists Expo is an international online event designed to empower young artists by providing a platform for their creative voices to be heard. Hosted by California Sister Cities, this youth-led initiative celebrates artistic expression while promoting global themes of peace, kindness, and cooperation.

The Expo fosters cultural exchange and artistic collaboration, offering young creatives the opportunity to showcase their work on an international stage. Selected pieces will be featured at Creative Space Akademeia 21 in Tokyo, Japan, reaching audiences worldwide.

Who Can Participate?

The Expo is open to young artists of all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you’re a student, an emerging creator, or a passionate visual storyteller, this event welcomes you.

Judging Process & Selection Criteria

A panel of renowned judges will review submissions based on:

• Relevance to Theme – Alignment with the chosen category.
• Top submissions will be eligible for prestigious awards and featured in international exhibitions.
